Sun and Marine Fabric GISATEX® MALO is a hard-wearing upholstery material with a Wet care membrane, applicable indoors or outdoors. Its elegant design and harmonious colour schemes meet the highest standards. Its fibre coating makes it impervious to moisture and is stain-resistant.

Qualities

GISATEX® MALO uses a unique thermos conditioning treatment process coating the fibres within a protective layer. This accounts for its exceptional moisture and dirt resistance as well as preventing unpleasant odours. MALO is therefore low-maintenance, breathable and kind to the skin. One the one hand GISATEX® MALO is durable and resilient and suitable for areas of maximum wear. On the other hand, its thin membrane allows air flow, preventing water of reaching the upholstery filling.

Instructions for use

As an upholstery cover, GISATEX® MALO can be sewn and worked just like any cotton material. However, it should be sewn only with water-resistant Synton yarn.

Alliant motifs élégants et couleurs harmonieuses, GISATEX® Malo répond aux demandes les plus exigentes. Grâce au traitement spécial de ses fibres, il résiste également à l’humidité.

Caractéristiques du matériau

GISATEX® Malo utilise un processus unique qui thermo-conditionne les fibres de ce tissu et les recouvre complètement d’une couche protectrice, ce qui leur donne une résistance remarquable aux salissures et à l’humidité. Par conséquence, GISATEX® Malo est un tissu d’entretien facile longue durée, respirant, et agréable au toucher. Il empêche les mauvaises odeurs de se former. GISATEX® Malo est robuste et durable, particulièrment conçu pour les zones d’utilisation intensive requérant une haute performance dans ce domaine. Sur l’envers du tissu, une fine membrane permet à l’air de passer, mais empêche l’humidité d’atteindre l’intérieur des coussins. 87% OLEFIN/13% PE.

Mode d’utilisation

GISATEX® Malo peut être cousu tout comme un coton d’ameublement ordinaire mais uniquement avec le “Synton-Garn”, un fil résistant à l’eau.
