GISATEX® DRYWEAVE® 10 is a mattress underlay which effectively prevents condensation and damp under mattresses or upholstery. The three-dimensional spacing weave provides a layer of air between upholstery and bed base, and thus inhibits the build-up of mould, mildew, fungal growth and unpleasant smells. GISATEX® DRYWEAVE® 10 thus makes for healthy and comfortable sleeping conditions on
board.

Qualities

GISATEX® DRYWEAVE® 10 consists of a unique multi-polyester 3D net structure with a textured 4-way surface layer to protect your mattress. The net structure is composed of multiple strands of thin polyester fibres, which are held together by a strong polyester mono-filament yarn material. The thinness of the fibres allows air circulation to carry away both warmth and moisture: the material of the network itself can absorb no moisture because of its physical properties. The spacing weave has a very high vertical stability (500kg/m2) but can still adapt to the anatomy of the backbone and help prevent back pain. The use of GISATEX® DRYWEAVE® 10 will usually make a slatted bed base unnecessary.

Instructions for use

GISATEX® DRYWEAVE® 10 can simply be cut to shape by putting the mattress on top of it and drawing round it. The shape of the mattress can then be cut out with a pair of stout scissors. Insert the underlay under the mattress.

GISATEX® DRYWEAVE® 10 est un capitonnage d’isolation qui se pose sous les matelas ou les coussins pour prévenir efficacement l’humidité et la condensation donnant lieu aux mauvaises odeurs et aux taches de moisissure. Ce matériau permet un sommeil sain et confortable à bord.

Caractéristiques du matériau

GISATEX® DRYWEAVE® 10 est constitué d’une structure unique en filet Multipolyester 3D, qui permet à l’air de circuler entre le matelas (ou le coussin) et la surface de pose. Ce matériau est composé de multiples fibres de polyester qui sont tenus ensemble par un monofilament rigide en polyester avec une surface texturée en quadrillage. De par sa composition, ce matériau ne peut retenir l’humidité et il permet à l’air de circuler, évitant ainsi la formation de condensation sous le matelas. Le “Multi-Polyester 3D Filament” possède une très grande stabilité verticale (peut supporter jusquà 500 kg /m2 ), mais peut, grâce à sa remarquable souplesse, s’adapter à l’anatomie du corps humain et aide à la prévention
de douleurs lombaires. GISATEX® DRYWEAVE® 10 remplace avantageusement un sommier à lattes.

Utilisation

GISATEX® DRYWEAVE® 10 se découpe facilement avec une paire de ciseaux ordinaires. Nous vous conseillons de mettre le coussin ou matelas sur le matériau et de marquer son contour avant de le découper.
