GISATEX® RG35 MULTI NOPP engine compartment sound insulation

Areas of use

GISATEX® RG35 MULTI NOPP is the ideal sound absorber to get irritating and disturbing engine noises in the engine compartment of your ship under control. It is also suitable for sound insulation of walls, doors or entire rooms. This product is certified to ISO 4589-3.

Qualities

GISATEX® RG35 MULTI NOPP is a special open-pored polyurethane foam board with a pyramidal structure, it provides a sound absorption level of 78% on average by DIN 52215 (100-1600Hz). The sound waves hit the structured surface and are dispersed and reflected within the structure until the energy is completely absorbed. The sound is thus swallowed up. GISATEX® RG35 MULTI NOPP is almost uninflammable (up to approx. 300ºC), flame retardant, non-dripping, and can therefore be installed right up against an engine.

Instructions for use

GISATEX® RG35 MULTI NOPP is thermoplastic and can thus easily be installed in any position in any space. It is attached using our adhesive type 135.
