Areas of use

ANTISLIDE MARINE FLOOR by GISATEX® is visually appealing and due to its anti-slip properties is suitable for all wet or barefoot areas of your boat. It is the ideal long-lasting and hardwearing deck surface. Its anti-slip properties and pleasant underfoot feeling are due to the structured surface. When installed with full surface adhesive; ANTISLIDE MARINE FLOOR by GISATEX® is resistant to distortion and abrasion.

Qualities

It adapts ideally to the shape of the hull and the deck is sealed against water and moisture. The PVC material is resistant to salt water, UV and temperature. It is the ideal long-lasting and hardwearing deck surface. Good adhesion to almost all dry, clean, and smooth surfaces.

Instructions for use

You can only apply GISATEX® ANTISLIDE MARINE FLOOR “soft walk” to a dry and grease free surface. We recommend our special adhesive seal & bond No. 5 for the installation of GISATEX® ANTISLIDE MARINE FLOOR “soft walk”. You can cut it to shape with a pair of good size scissors or a modelling knife. Before cutting the flooring, we recommend that you first prepare a template since this makes it easier to get a good fit in complex shapes. You should wipe excess glue away as soon as possible. We recommend sticking masking tape around the area to be glued before applying the adhesive and allowing it to dry for an hour. Then you should place GISATEX® ANTISLIDE MARINE FLOOR “soft walk” onto the adhesive bed, smoothing out from the centre and wiping away excess glue as you go. Additionally, you can seal small gaps with silicon.

Care instructions

Do not clean GISATEX® ANTISLIDE MARINE FLOOR “soft walk” with a coarse brush or with high pressure cleaners, sharp household cleaners or solvents! Suitable are gentle cleanser, soft brushes or a microfibre sponge, which are gentle on the surface.

Domaine d’application

GISATEX® ANTISLIDE soft walk est un revêtement anti-dérapant visuellement très attrayant, destiné aux surfaces toujours humides ou pour les déplacements pieds-nus sur votre bateau, particulièrement idéal pour les endroits de passage fréquent. Ce matériau souple est facile d’usage et peut être adapté à des bateaux dont la coque présente une forme complexe. Etanche, ce matériau empêche l’humidité de pénétrer sur le pont. Sa texture spéciale lui confère ses qualités anti-dérapantes ainsi qu’une agréable sensation sous le pied. Une fois encollé sur toute sa surface, GISATEX® ANTISLIDE soft walkrésiste aux distortions et aux abrasions.

Mode d’utilisation

La surface à encoller doit être sèche et ne présenter aucune marque de graisse. Nous recommandons l’usage de notre colle seal & bond No.5 pour l’installation de GISATEX®  ANTISLIDE soft walk. La souplesse de GISATEX® ANTISLIDE soft walk le rend facile à découper avec de bons ciseaux ou encore un cutter. Nous vous conseillons de préparer au préalable un modèle sur papier pour vous aider lors du découpage d’angles délicats. Lors de la pose du revêtement, la colle débordant éventuellement sur les bords doit être essuyée le plus rapidement possible. Nous recommandons l’usage de rouleau adhésif pour délimiter la surface à encoller, puis d’étaler la colle dans le périmètre ainsi délimité et d’attendre environ une heure que la colle sèche. Ensuite, mettez GISATEX® ANTISLIDE soft walk sur la partie encollée et ajustez en partant du centre vers les bords extérieurs, en essuyant le surplus de colle éventuel au fur et à mesure. Les raccords peuvent ensuite être également scellés avec du silicone.

Instructions de nettoyage

Ne pas nettoyer GISATEX® ANTISLIDE soft walk avec un gros brosse, laveuse à pression, nettoyants durs ou des solvants. Nettoyants doux sont bonnes, aussi bien qu’ une brosse douce, des éponges microfibres, qui n’attaquent pas la surface.
